Welcome to Waiheke’s kids & teens movement gym, where energy, exploration, and skill-building come together! We’ve paired parkour, gymnastics tumbling, and bouldering to create a program that develops agility, strength, and creativity - helping kids move with confidence in any environment.
We offer structured classes led by expert coaches, designed to match each child’s individual skill level - as well as coach-assisted open sessions, where kids can explore, play, and develop skills based on their own interests.
Whether your child wants to learn parkour, master a backflip, conquer a bouldering wall, or just explore in a dynamic, safe space, we’ve got them covered. With experienced coaches and a small 1:6 coach-to-student ratio, we provide personalised guidance, safe skill progression, and a supportive environment where every child can thrive.

Our Toddler & Preschool Movement Classes introduce little movers to the fundamentals of balance, coordination, and body awareness through fun, structured play. Our daytime movement sessions provide a structured and engaging way for homeschool students to stay active, develop new skills, and connect with others. These sessions cover a mix of parkour, tumbling, and bouldering, offering a unique movement experience that builds strength, agility, and confidence.

Open Sessions
Move freely, build skills, and take on new challenges!
Our open sessions give kids the best of both worlds - freedom to explore and structured opportunities for skill development. Each session features a parkour course of the day, designed by our expert coaches to challenge agility, problem-solving, and movement skills. Kids can follow the course or move at their own pace - climbing the bouldering wall, practicing flips on the mats, or running, jumping, and tumbling through obstacles.
Our experienced coaches are always on hand to supervise, provide guidance, and support individual skill development. Whether kids want to refine a technique, work toward a goal, or just have fun moving, open sessions provide a safe, engaging, and dynamic environment for growth and play. For those looking to improve their tumbling skills, our coaches can help with foundational techniques like rolls and handstands or work toward advanced moves like backflips and aerials.
Birthday Parties
Stress-free planning, high-energy fun, epic challenges, and an unforgettable celebration!
Throw the ultimate birthday party with action-packed games, obstacle courses, and exciting challenges—all led by our expert coaches. Kids will run, jump, climb, and flip their way through an adventure designed to keep them engaged and having a blast. For those looking to amp up the excitement, we also offer optional Nerf battles to bring a thrilling, action-packed twist to the celebration!
After all the movement and excitement, there will be time for food, cake, and present unwrapping, making it a full celebration experience. We provide the fun—you bring the snacks and decorations to make it your own!
DETAILS
We can comfortably accommodate 12 kids in one birthday session. This ensures everyone has plenty of space to move and play freely.
The kids will have full use of the gym and their coach will take them through awesome age appropriate obstacle courses, air track skills, mini tramp and the crowd pleaser favourite nerf gun battle (if the birthday kid wishes).
The full session is 1.5 hours long for the kids with the coach. Through experience we recommend one hour of play, this is usually enough time before the kids are hungry and puffed out. However you are welcome to decide how you would like to split the time between food and presents at the end.
There is 15 minutes prior to the party starting for parents to set up any decorations, set the table and welcome their guests. There is also 15 minutes of time after the party finishes to collect personal items to pack away.

Andrew - Head Coach
Andrew has coached thousands of kids in parkour and gymnastics at leading gymnastics clubs, fitness studios, and movement facilities. He was the Head Parkour and Tumbling Coach at Flow Academy, coached MAG at Tristar & Howick Gymnastics, ran his own gym in Ponsonby (The Training Ground), and has worked with all ages and skill levels.
With a deep passion for movement and years of experience, Andrew helps kids build strength, agility, and confidence in a fun, supportive environment. He was also the Auckland Representative for the NZ Parkour Association, working to grow and develop parkour in New Zealand.
Sandy – Gym Manager
Sandy is the friendly voice behind the scenes, making sure everything runs smoothly. From answering parent questions and tracking kids' progress to scheduling classes and handling bookings, she keeps the gym organized and stress-free for families.
With a passion for creating a welcoming and supportive environment, Sandy ensures that every child and parent has the best possible experience—from their first inquiry to their ongoing journey with us.
Ethan – Parkour Program Lead Coach
Ethan is an experienced parkour coach with a passion for teaching kids how to move with confidence, creativity, and control. He previously ran the youth parkour program at The Training Ground, helping young athletes develop their skills in a fun and supportive environment.
With a strong background in coaching and a deep love for movement, Ethan is dedicated to helping kids push their limits, master new techniques, and build resilience—one jump at a time!

Our sessions are designed around three core movement disciplines—parkour, tumbling, and bouldering—each chosen for its unique benefits in building strength, coordination, confidence, and problem-solving skills.
Parkour is all about moving with focus, safety, and precision. Kids learn to land safely, roll efficiently, and use their bodies to overcome obstacles with confidence. Through structured challenges, they develop agility, spatial awareness, and adaptability, learning how to move efficiently while making quick decisions in dynamic environments.
Tumbling teaches kids to harness speed, power, and control. From soft, controlled movements to explosive flips and jumps, tumbling builds strength, coordination, and rhythm, helping kids develop an awareness of how to generate and absorb force safely. This combination of slow, controlled movements and high-energy tricks teaches adaptability and body control.
Rock climbing & bouldering challenge not just physical strength but also strategic thinking and problem-solving. At first glance, routes may seem simple, but kids quickly discover that success requires careful route planning, grip strength, and full-body coordination. Climbing builds resilience, patience, and determination—often requiring kids to drop down, rethink their approach, and try again, reinforcing a growth mindset.

Absolutely! Our gym is designed to be a supportive and confidence-building space where kids can explore movement at their own pace. Open sessions are all about movement freedom, exploration, and skill development. These sessions allow kids to move between parkour, tumbling, and climbing at their own pace—without the structure of a formal class.
A huge bonus? Siblings and friends of different ages (5-12 years) can attend together, making it a fun and inclusive way for families to train in the same space.
Our coaches are always on hand to supervise, provide guidance, and help kids work on the skills and goals they want to focus on—whether that’s refining a technique, learning a new trick, or just gaining confidence in movement. The focus is on self-led play, progression, and having a blast!
